It would've been very easy to keep the story unchanged but improve everything else. Overall i'm very disapointed, I can't call this a Lugaru story, it's just not the same. Even with their decent editor, they didn't do much to make the characters come to life, such as having them walk in cutscenes and small things like that.
They had all the tools to make a great remake of the story but they decided to make changes that are not true to the Lugaru plot. This was unexpected, especially since they took a long time just to implement this. The improved visuals of the Lugaru levels were a welcome change but it was unecessary to completely change the story, it's way too different.Īnother issue is that Wolfire didn't even complete the story, it ends abruptly and in a weird way without even finishing it. The main problem I had with it is the fact that the story changed, some pieces of dialogue were improved but major plot was completely modified from it's original counterpart. Unfortunately, I was very disapointed as I played all the story levels. I used to play that a lot and I couldn't wait until I could try this out.
